The next instalment of the Autumn Term's Lunchtime Concerts saw our audience being entertained by boys from year 4-8 with a variety of music at all levels. From the vocals of Paul Arbibe, Hassan Malik and Charlie Jones to the dulcet tones of the Classical guitar with Thomas Gilham and Fraser Awbery just to name a few. We heard a more unusual composition on the piano performed by Ben Brown which focuses on using resonance of the strings of the piano in a work entitled Ghostly Conversations, rounding off with a lively rendition of the William Tell Overture by Rossini, played by the school orchestra. All boys performed well and held their nerves at bay, so well done indeed! A big well done also should go to Alex Haycock who, on Monday morning performed his own piano composition to the entire school as they walked in for assembly.
