Continuing to celebrate World Book Day of a few weeks ago, the boys were asked to submit photographs of themselves reading in unusual places to prove that you just can't put a good book down.
Having considered all entries, the winner is Elliot Lloyd 1W, whose photograph was of him reading "Going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury from his bedroom window where he often sits to read and look out for bears (but so far none have been seen in Beaconsfield). Elliot says:" I love this book especially after seeing it on television and now know it off by heart and can read it without looking at the words. I love the sounds in it - swishy swashy and splash splash. My favourite is the baby and I like it when he is back with his teddy at the end."
Runner up is Xander Ramsay 6F who was photographed reading in a very unusual place!!
Well done to Elliot and Xander.
