Davenies' intrepid team of adventurers set off for St. John's School in high spirits, ready for a challenging afternoon taking part in their Northwood 500 race.
Despite literally experiencing weather taken from all four of our seasons (snow, hail, wind and sunshine to name but a few!) the boys got well and truly stuck in to the event. Given the potentially dangerous nature of the obstacles, the team were given detailed safety instruction beforehand, along with an opportunity to try out each one.
Then it was time for the main event. Running as a team of ten, they set off at pace working together (mostly...) to expedite a safe and speedy coverage of the course. This they did finishing in a respectable time and, far more importantly, both in one piece and far better off for the experience, having completed a very challenging race!
